Behind-the-Back Pass:
Behind-the-back passes are basketball (external link) passes dealt to a target behind the passer's back . Usually done to confuse the defender, behind the back passes can either be bounced off the floor or passed directly to a teammate's chest . However, most behind-the-back passes are direct.

It is used extensively where a dribbler cuts into the basket and is cut off from in front , so he cannot make a shot or pass, so he flips it around behind his body to a teammate who is either open o who is cutting for the basket.
